বাক্যের The man হলো Subject আর Who দ্বারা The man কেই বুঝানো হচ্ছে। কিন্তু প্রশ্নের অর্থ অনুযায়ী বাড়িটি অন্য আরেকজনের কাছে বিক্রি করা হয়েছে। তাই এখানে Pronoun হিসেবে Who না বসে Preposition এর পরে Who এর Object form হিসেবে Whom বসবে।
